Mikayla is a 2012 graduate from Ohio University. She received a Bachelors degree from Scripps College of Communication and a Minor in Business Administration while expanding her degree with a marketing, management, and leadership related area. Mikayla began her political career at the Ohio House of Representatives working for Representative Ron Amstutz, who served as the House Finance Committee Chairman during the 130th Ohio General Assembly budget. She most recently worked for prior Chairman Richard Adams serving as the office legislative aide and clerk of the House Financial Institutions, Housing and Urban Development committee. Mikayla began her lobbying career in the private sector in January of 2015, where she fulfilled the role of Director of Government Affairs for Capitol Action Team before joining Government Advantage Group, LLP. Mikayla is a current member of the Ohio Lobbying Association and serves on the planning Committee for the Ohio YMCA Youth in Government program. Mikayla is an Ohio Lobbying Association Certified Lobbyist, successfully completing requirements by the Ohio Lobbying Association “Certified Lobbyist Program”.
